ICBC Agrees to Support Bylaw Enforcement
ICBC has agreed to provide the motor vehicle information needed by local government to enforce local bylaws, such as fine collection and parking tickets. In addition, ICBC has agreed to provide this information both online and over the telephone when requested by bylaw staff. Read More

2013 Benefits Conference Highlights Emerging Issues for Employers
UBCM is excited to host its Benefits Conference April 18th-19th at the River Rock Hotel in Richmond, BC. The Conference will inspire new ideas for local government staff and others who are responsible for group benefit plans. Registration is now open.

New Healthy Communities Capacity Building Fund
A new fund has been launched by the Ministry of Health to boost local government capacity for healthy community partnerships, leadership and action. Small grants of up to $5000 per community are available. Applications will be accepted and reviewed up until June 30, 2013. This initiative is part of the Healthy Families BC Communities Strategy.
